    Purpose:

The purpose of the Flip video documentary is to provide opportunities for student organizations to embrace modern multimedia in the documentation and communication of their organizational IMPACT.

    Vision:

Student organizations will utilize our Flip cameras, available for checkout through our office, to produce a 2-3 minute video that documents their organization mission, activities, and IMPACT.

    Benefits:

Exceptional videos will be selected and shown in the CUB Auditorium during our Spring Awards Banquet and placed on the Student Involvement and Leadership Development website.

    Guidelines:

Video size is limited to 2-3 minutes.

Videos must be shot on a Flip video camera and edited with any software.

Creativity is encouraged and may be enhanced by considering different parameters such as limiting each scene’s length to no more than 10 seconds.

People featured in your videos in non-public spaces will need to give permission to be filmed.

    Submission Guidelines:

All videos are due to Student Involvement by March 27th.

Videos can either be submitted as email attachments, or in person to Jami or Tim with a thumbdrive in CUB 320.

Please contact Tim Richel at trichel@wsu.edu for additional details.
